Hibernate HSQLDB Sequences for Unit Testing

Sequences in HSQLDB are a little odd. The syntax isn’t unusual: CREATE SEQUENCE <sequencename> [AS {INTEGER | BIGINT}] [START WITH <startvalue>] [INCREMENT BY <incrementvalue>]; But what happens is a little unexpected.
